Robert & Kerri Forester
We are Robert and Kerri Forester, new owners of Focus Magazine. Robert comes from an extensive background in graphic arts, with over 30 years of graphic design, printing and marketing experience. Kerri has enjoyed a long career in education and Children’s Ministry. We both recognize the potential that lies in this established and treasured "gem". We are very excited at the opportunity to see Focus Magazine move into its next season. There are lots of new ideas! But there are three things that Focus Magazine will never loose... its name, its purpose, or its positivity!
We would like to thank our advertisers for their renewed support of Focus Magazine. Needless to say, without advertisers, there would be no Focus Magazine! And if you'd like to advertise with us, let us know!
Our desire is to provide a venue to showcase the many talented writers and artist that live in the Panhandle. If you are interested in writing for Focus Magazine, we would like to hear from you! And, if you know of a story that needs to be told, let us know!

Origins
Focus Magazine was started by Bobbye Combs in 1982. Bobbye and her husband Joel, chronicled four decades of life in Pampa and the Texas Panhandle. Each quarter, Focus Magazine's pages celebrated the rich history and vibrant community, and offered a unique insight into Top O’ Texas life! Focus Magazine has established relationships with countless advertisers and has earned the respect of a vast community of readers. This is due to a wonderful group of contributors too! Their dedication to Focus Magazine has been remarkable! And now, after 40 years, numerous awards, and much recognition, Focus Magazine continues to be the "Most Positive Voice in the Panhandle." With the recent passing of Bobbye, and then, Joel's passing closely behind, the Focus Magazine community is grieving the loss of its founders. Not only will Bobbye and Joel be missed by family and friends, they will be missed by an entire community.
Each issue of Focus Magazine is a time capsule in itself. As we honor Focus Magazine's remarkable past, we are eager to share that its story and mission does not end here!
